  Hands down best Italian food I have ever eaten! we had the malfatti, meatballs, and three bean salad - every dish was so yummy !!!
  
  You can feel the family love and care put into their food. Definitely will be coming back and bringing some friends along with me next time

  I just got back from Italy and had a craving for authentic homemade pasta. Stumbled across this place and ordered everything homemade: Malfatti, gnocchi, ravioli, meatballs with meat sauce.
  
  +1 star for the delicious meat sauce and meatballs
  -3 stars for over cooked mush. The pastas were lumped together, overcooked, mushy, and flavorless
  -1 star for the pushy sales lady (owner's daughter) who just doesn't listen to you, especially if you're a fist time visitor.
  
  BEWARE! She will try to sell you all 3 pastas on the menu then charge you additional $5 for serving your food in an aluminum tray. She will then push you to buy stale sourdough bread to "soak up the sauce" for $3 or $5 cash.
  
  Watch out for her charging you an extra $10 for items you don't need!
  
  BEFORE YOU GO:
  If you really want to try their food, it's ok to skip the bread. It's just sourdough. You don't need it even though the daughter will push you to buy it for $5 cash.
  
  Make sure to have your food served in their to-go paper cups/containers which are $0.55 each. Don't let her charge you $5 for putting everything the tin pan.  
  
  WHAT TO EXPECT:
  A glob of non-authentic, non-al dentè, mushy "pasta." It'll basically mashed starch drenched in sauce.

  Always a must stop for us. We found it on accident, looking for an affordable place to eat driving through Napa.
  
  Put it this way, when there are actual death threats for any locals who tell tourists about this place in the reviews, you know you've found something uniquely amazing.

  First off let's start with the service. For a wonderful little food counter tucked into a liquor store the sweet lady at the counter makes you feel like you're an old family friend. Inviting is the operative word. Prices are great for the amount of TLC found in the food. Don't have a Italian grandma or mother to shower you in deliciousness, well then you're in luck. Stop by this joint for a rib sticking meal that will put a smile on your face. Malfatti, gnocchi, ravioli, fresh bread. So many good items to make for the special night in with some delicious Italian cuisine. Whether you're having a date night at home or a family meal, give this place a try.

  The malfatti alone!!! It's located in a hole in the wall liquor store in down town Napa. Personally think the food pricing and deliciousness is totally preferred over all the other fancy Italian restaurants in Napa. But then again, you can't sit and dine in a liquor store (we always get ours to go or eat at a lark nearby). Careful they are closed one day of the week, so make sure you double check what day it is before going! Bring your own container for them to serve you up in, if you don't want to spend the extra 2/3 bucks for a to go container. If you go in the morning you can also get a fresh loaf of bread with your order and it is so delicious and great for scooping up the extra meaty sauce with after you finish your pasta. Parking is all along the street downtown. They get pretty busy around holidays so if you plan to order then, call in to make sure they can accommodate you!
